All of our cocktails are freshly made in the bar using fresh fruit locally sourced from The New Forest.

We serve a heartly made full english breakfast included with all our in-house room rate. We also serve any walk-ins from 8:00 am till 9:30 am for £12.95 pp.

We pride ourselves on serving freshly made artisan coffee for the best possible taste. Ranging from Espressos to Lattes.

Local breweries always have a special place in our heart. At the Compasses Inn we support our local Six Penny Brewery which is located just 4 miles away…

A favourite amongst our locals and newcomers the 6d Best offers a taste of a traditional dark ale whilst being light and refreshing to consume.

We love to support local trade.

We are proud to showcase a variety of ingredients and menu items. We have been trading with Damerham Trout Fisheries to provide our customers with some of the freshest sourced produce in The New Forest.

First-rate local butchers provide us with bespoke cuts of meat and game, and our fresh fish comes from as close as 400 yards away.

Behind the inn we have a walled garden, where we grow organic herbs & vegetables in order to prepare our delicious & hearty meals with produce as fresh as possible.

We serve tea and freshly ground coffee all day, and during the summer months we serve homemade cakes and cream teas.

Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Erick honed his skills cooking with some of the great French chefs, in coveted kitchens in London, a double Michelin-starred restaurant in Tunbridge Wells, and Marco Pierre White's Chequers Inn.

A strong believer in keeping it simple and fresh, Erick is passionate about blending influences from his travels around the world with delightful traditional British cuisine.
